SNK Petroleum Growing 1 Store at a Time
Founded in 2011, the retailer has grown to a 145-store footprint over the past 12 years, including a wholesale business that has extended well past its beginnings in Hopewell Junction, New York. Having launched its own fuel brand—SNK Fuels—the company has extended itself as far west as Chicago, with fee-owned sites in several states in between, including New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Vermont and Massachusetts.

SNK Petroleum has acquired a 30-site portfolio in the Chicago area and plans for four new ground-up locations.
SNK Petroleum has resolutely expanded its business operations, adding new sites in multiple states.
In 2021, in a sharp contrast from its traditional geography, SNK set its sights on locations in Illinois surrounding Chicago. What began with a modest acquisition of a few locations has grown into a 30-site portfolio within one hour of downtown Chicago under the Citgo, Gulf and SNK Fuel proprietary brands. Several locations boast an over 3,000-square-foot footprint with gaming/slot machines and foodservice amenities.
Additionally, there are four new ground-up locations under construction which will come alive in 2023. SNK is now a thriving and diverse enterprise on a large scale, recognized for quality products, exceptional service and competitive prices.

New Haven Public Schools distributes 1,000 donated Thanksgiving turkeys to local families
The New Haven Public Schools distributed turkeys and fixings for Thanksgiving meals to 1,000 families Monday, thanks to a donation from SNK Petroleum Wholesalers. Four hundred of the turkeys were Halal. The food was distributed to families who preregistered at Conte West Hills School.
“We are grateful to the people of SNK for their generosity to our families,” said Gemma Joseph Lumpkin, chief of Youth, Family, and Community Engagement. “This is a wonderful gift that will bring the joy of the season to many in our community for whom this might otherwise be a particularly challenging time of year.”
